Since then she has been practicing veterinary medicine on the I-70 corridor. Her specialties include equine medicine and small animal internal medicine and surgery. Dr. Gochanour is also a certified animal chiropractor. In August of 2011 she completed her training and passed the board exams for the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association. While off duty she loves spending time with her family and enjoying our beautiful Colorado outdoors. Dr. Gochanour is a mother of two, Lynae and Konner, and owner of 2 dogs, a cat, fish, and a guinea pig.

Dr_Natalie Peterson

Natalie Peterson, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine

Dr. Natalie Peterson was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Growing up with dogs, fish, guinea pigs, and a love of horses, she always knew she wanted to be a veterinarian. She shadowed her pet's small animal veterinarian, and worked at multiple barns to gain more experience. After graduating from La Cueva high school, Natalie completed a Bachelors in Equine Science from CSU, and was admitted to the Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. She graduated as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine May 11, 2018, and accepted Dr. Gochanour's offer to become a member of the Living Springs Veterinary Team.

Natalie has a passion for nutrition, ophthalmology, and exotic medicine. Though she loves working with all species, exotics can make her day! When not at the clinic, Natalie loves to run and hike with her husband, Ross, and their dog Dodger. Natalie and Ross also love to dance, including country swing and salsa. During her alone time, Natalie loves to paint, read, and cuddle with her two guinea pigs, Genie and Prince Felipe the III.

Karen Nonnemaker.jpg

Karen Nonnemaker, Certified Veterinary Technician

Karen and her husband moved to Colorado in October of 2011. She decided she wanted to attend Bel-Rea to become a Vet Tech to pursue a career in both science and animals, both of which she loves. She graduated from Bel-Rea in 2013 and became a CVT shortly after. She was lucky to be able to work in the field while in school which gave her a great start in the field. In the past years I she has enjoyed learning and growing as a tech. She loves working with all species big and small. She has too many furry family members of her own to mention individually, but they include; dogs, goats, horses, and a chicken. Her spare time is usually spent enjoying her critters with her hubby. One big thing to know about her is that she especially LOVES Standard Poodles and all things fluffy/ curly! She’s super excited to get to grow as a Vet Tech here at Living Springs and to get to know all of you!
