Appointment Cancellation Policy

Thank you for choosing Living Springs Veterinary Care for your pets’ medical needs. Our goal is to create a positive experience for both you and your pet. We know that your time is important to you, so we want to do our part in managing our practice effectively to reduce wait times and keep clinic procedures in place to provide a positive and stress-free environment.

Cancellation, NO Show, and Late Policy

We at Living Springs Veterinary Care understand that sometimes you may need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. In the past we have done our best to be flexible; however, the new growth in our community has increased the demand for veterinary services. As a result, when a client does not notify us in advance to cancel an appointment, another pet is prevented or delayed from getting much needed treatment. As a result, we are implementing a cancellation, no show and late policy.

Cancellation of an Appointment: If it is necessary to cancel your appointment, we request notice at least 24 hours in advance. Appointments are in high demand and your early cancellation will allow another patient access to timely veterinary care. An appointment that is cancelled without 24-hour notice will be charged a $50 cancellation fee.

Cancellation of a Surgical or Sedated Procedure: All Surgical as well as sedated procedures take a great deal of time in preparation for our staff. If it is necessary for you to cancel your appointment, we request at least 72 hours advance notice. Appointments are in high demand and your early cancellation will allow another patient access to timely and, in some cases, life-saving surgical care. A surgical or sedated procedure that is cancelled without 72 hour notice will be charged a cancellation fee of $100.

NO Show of an Appointment: If you fail to show up for your scheduled appointment without prior notice, or without 24-hour notice, you will be considered a “no-show”. No-shows will result in a cancellation fee of $50 and may affect your ability to schedule future appointments.

Late Arrival to appointments: We make every effort to be on time for all our appointments. Unfortunately, when even one patient arrives late, it can throw off the entire schedule for that day. As a result, a client that arrives 15 minutes or more late to their appointment will be rescheduled and charged a cancellation fee of $50.

New Client NO Show or Cancellation of an Appointment: A new client who does not show up at their scheduled appointment time or who does not give 24-hour notice of cancellation will be charged a cancellation fee of $50 and will be required to prepay an exam fee to reschedule future appointments.

In the event of an emergency and prior notice could not be given, consideration of waiving the fee MAY be given. This is at the discretion of the practice manager or practice owner.

All cancellation fees are non-refundable. An invoice with the cancellation fee will be created and sent to the client via email or text with the ability to pay Online. Payment is due on or before scheduling your next appointment.

Testimonial

  • "New to Colorado and have had to deal with Expensive VCA clinics in town. My greyhound had an issue with this front paw, and I took him to Living Springs. The staff friendly and professional and took care great care of my dog. Unlike VCA clinics, I did not have to mortgage my home for a vet visit. Quite a drive from Denver but worth it."
